A bigger screen version of our 2nd generation woPad – woPad i8, is officially released!

Two weeks ago we released our 2nd generation woPad, woPad i7. Now its bigger brother, woPad i8, is also released.

This woPad i8 is the 2nd generation of our most popular woPad with capacitive multi-touch screen. It runs on the latest Rock-chip 2918 CPU based on ARM Cortex-A8 architecture. It uses a super thin and stylish aluminum enclosure similar to the 1st generation of woPad, but everything else are upgraded – to name a few, much faster 1.2GH ARM Cortex-A8 CPU, doubled memory to 512 DDR3, runs Android 2.3, bigger screen with much higher resolution: 8″ screen with 1024×768, 4:3 aspect ratio. It supports 3D games with native hardware acceleration, support Skype video calls, supports FLASH, added front-facing camera and back-facing camera, and the best of all, it keeps the low price. The capacitive screen support 5 point touch. Such screen is usually only used for high end model in the range of $400~500.

3D games are all very smooth due to the ARM Cortex-8 CPU plus GPU.

It can play the highest HD video 1080P very smoothly. You can also connect it to your big screen HD TV to play the 1080p HD video.
